About 10 Years old and created under my old name DJ Ollie - this little jem was thought to be extinct! Stacks of copies were created, all of which disappeared, dying car stereo deaths and eaten by family pets!. Popular to the point that my master CD was stolen, along with a HDD crash - leaving what seemed to be no trace of it. Now - Ten years later it turns out it still exists, so its been ripped and uploaded for all to enjoy. From those that still remember it to those that have never hear it before, This was... In the Beginning.

Well I didn't manage to record a live set due to some major laptop failure before the gig. I was very lucky to be able to still deliver a set! Anyhow after repairing my laptop I decided to give it test by recording a play through of my tunes from the night.
Set times changed on me a few times during prep so was its a bit of a combination of warmup at the start building into more big classic tunes from my last monthly mix.
Overall the crowd loved it - getting quite vocal with cheers and whistles... so here is your chance to enjoy it too! Pretty happy with it considering all that i've had too sort out in the past few months - I normally try spend a lot longer on these kinds of things.

Well here is another monthly mix... although a little late. Life got very complicated with a trip to Germany and a house move in April... making this one for the month of both April and May. A slightly more monotone and techy sounding mix... Influenced by feedback that a few people listen to my mixes while at the gym! Fully harmonic and delicately mixed as always, I start this one slow, heavy, dark and steady - after which at the 30min mark things pick up fast! Listen for your cue the step it up a notch!

Not just mixed harmonically (using musical keys), but every track has been edited and even remixed in someway by myself - layers of keyboards and soundscapes fused together to try and create a moment. I have also left it very dynamic. Overall quality has been paramount - mastered for headphone listening (for the ipod generation). Do note sound quality was restricted to that of the source material but every effort to make this sound great has been taken.
Artists include Sasha, Quivver, I am Jen, The Shapeshifters, Deadmau5 and even a Cosmic Gate remix!
This is what I consider a very private mix - Inspired by Sasha & Digweed, who shaped the way I listen to electronic music of all kinds. Produced in the fashion as these masters would do it - this is my gift to you to celebrate up my last 10 years of DJ'ing - from playing 60's rock classics, Psychedelic, Hard dance or even Chill. Gigs with crowds of 1000's or just 2. Its been an underground yet very enjoyable ride.
